UNC Rex Healthcare this week launched a new resource for pregnant women in the Triangle and beyond.

The new Pregnancy & Baby app, the first of its kind in the Triangle, lets expecting moms track their baby’s development throughout pregnancy, learn about pre and post-natal care and explore the services offered at the Rex Women’s Center, according to a press release.

“This mobile app gives us a fabulous way to connect with our patients as soon as they learn they are expecting,” said Susan O’Dell, director of the UNC REX Women’s Center, said in the release. “Expectant parents can track their pregnancy journey as well as learn about baby development, preparing for childbirth, and educational offerings at UNC REX. We are really excited to use this technology to better serve our families.”

The app is available for free download in the App Store and Play Store.

Some features are designed for women who plan on delivering at UNC Rex. But many offer general information for anybody who is expecting a baby.
