Las Vegas, NV – Sean “Diddy” Combs chose an ideal moment to introduce the world to the Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop trailer. During Sunday night’s (May 21) Billboard Music Awards, he provided a sneak peek of the Bad Boy-centric documentary on what would have been The Notorious B.I.G.’s 45th birthday.
Before introducing the trailer to the film, Diddy took time to dote on Biggie’s legacy as an artist.
“In 1993, it was all a dream,” the rap mogul said. “That’s when God blessed me with the opportunity and the vision to start Bad Boy Records. Bad Boy Records became one of the most successful Hip Hop and R&B labels in history, selling over half a billion records worldwide. But it all started with The Notorious B.I.G. Big sold over 25 million records worldwide. His ‘Ready To Die’ album. His ‘Life After Death’ album — classics. They changed the game. They changed the game of Hip Hop forever. Biggie was the best rapper I ever had a chance to work with.”
Diddy later encouraged the audience to get out of their seats and honor Biggie for his birthday. Before showing the trailer to Can’t
