Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz worked his way through a medley of topics during an appearance on ABC’s The View this week.
After releasing the trailer for his upcoming Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album, the Southern wordsmith provided some insight into what fans can expect from the project. He explained the album is “edgy,” but also boasts a more mature version of 2 Chainz.
“You can expect growth and maturation from 2 Chainz,” 2 Chainz said on the show. “It’s still edgy content, but trap music is kind of defined as low socio-economic background music where you have to hustle to get out. And it’s a situation where a lot of good girls used to like the bad guys. And that’s what this album is about.”
