DURHAM, N.C. – Minnesota Timberwolves guard and 2015 Final Four Most Outstanding Player Tyus Jones is the guest on the latest episode of “The Offseason with Jon Scheyer.”

Jones and Scheyer catch up on a number of topics, including the Timberwolves’ trade for Jimmy Butler and the team’s outlook, the run to Duke’s 2015 national championship and Jones’ excitement for fellow Blue Devil Amile Jefferson to get a shot with the Timberwolves in this year’s NBA Summer League.

Jones recently finished his second season with his hometown Timberwolves. In 97 NBA games, he has averages of 3.8 points and 2.7 assists with a 3.72 assist-to-turnover ratio. In 2016, Jones was named MVP of the Las Vegas portion of the NBA Summer League.

This week’s current player segment features sophomore forward Javin DeLaurier. The Shipman, Va., native is arguably the best athlete on the team and will look to expand his role this season as a high-flying force on both ends of the floor.
