The milder temperatures will be around for the weekend with the humid weather really staying around for the end of summer. Though temperatures will be near to only a bit above normal, the humidity around the area will make it feel much warmer. And with sunshine being had, any afternoon sunshine will feel much warmer than the middle 80s we are looking at.

Over the weekend, anyone going to the beaches will have to watch for Jose and the waves it is sending to the East Coast. Large swells and rip currents will be a danger this weekend, and if Jose is close enough to the coastline early next week, some rain may even move into the Outer Banks. This will bring some strong winds and even a chance for flooding, depending how close it gets to the coastline. If it is farther to the east, it may just be a bit breezy, but remain dry.

With Jose off the coastline next week, it will continue to keep it dry and warm over the area, and the humidity will remain over the area.
This looks to stay with us through much of next week also, so enjoy the last bits of summer!
