Raleigh, N.C. — When siblings team up to start businesses in the Triangle, magic happens.
Sibling duo Catherine Enright and Peter Pierracini are two parts of eXO Skin Simple’s luxury skincare brand created here in the Triangle.
Pieraccini, who heads the research and development, is based locally at the company’s leading research and manufacturing facility in RTP. Catherine, who leads the creative vision and brand strategy, is based in NYC.
Although fairly young, the brand has had much success since their launch in September of 2016, “especially with the Raleigh community,” Enright says.
The brand is cruelty-free, paraben-free and gluten-free.
Their formulations consist of the power “land, sea, and me” — a motto that Catherine coined to describe their patented use of exosomes for topicals. For years, researches have been studying how exosomes can help grow and regenerate tissue. eXO has taken that technology and created a cosmetic application to help repair damage and signs of aging.
“Our moisturizer heals and hydrates while infusing your skin cells with our restorative Zen3 Exosome technology. So, essentially, you are what heals your skin,” says Enright.
When first testing out the product, Enright experienced quick results.
