The Terry Sanford girls’ tennis team and Cape Fear volleyball team already have clinched regular season championships in the Patriot Conference. Thursday, each took another step toward finishing league play undefeated.

In tennis, Terry Sanford shut out Pine Forest 9-0. The Bulldogs drive lose a set in improving to 15-2 overall and 15-0 in league matches.

In volleyball, Cape Fear swempt Pine Forst 25-16, 25-11, 25-15 behind 17 kills from Lauren Adams and 32 assists from Cheyenne Hill. The Colts are 15-0 in Patriot play and 20-3 overall.

Regular seasons for tennis and volleyball end next week.
