SANFORD — Tournament MVP Silas Love had 24 points, 14 rebounds and eight steals as Hoke County defeated host Lee County 72-55 to win the Yellow Jacket Holiday Classic championship Friday.

The Bucks (12-1) led by just three points at halftime but pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Jackets 22-9.

C.J. Stone led Lee County with 19 points.

Jaleel Ray added 19 and Dakari Johnson had 15 points to go with six steals and five assists for Hoke.

Stone and Giffin Dunne from Lee were named to the all-tournament team, joining Love, Ray and Johson from Hoke.
