DURHAM, N.C. — Duke University head football coach David Cutcliffe and his staff announced Wednesday that Ken Torain has signed a national letter of intent to join the Blue Devil gridiron program.

A 6-2, 195-pound cornerback from Tampa, Fla., Torain joins 15 members of the class who signed in December. Representing eight states, the group includes three wide receivers, three offensive linemen, three defensive backs, two defensive linemen, two linebackers, one running back, one tight end and one quarterback.

Torain lettered four seasons at Jesuit High School and is listed as the No. 70 cornerback in the country according to 247Sports.com. As a senior, he posted 26 tackles, three interceptions, five pass breakups and one fumble recovery.
