PEMBROKE — Silas Love had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Jason Ford made the most of his playing time with 18 points as Hoke County defeated Purnell Swett 86-54 to stay unbeaten in Sandhills Athletic Conference play Tuesday night.

Hoke (21-1, 13-0) holds a four-game lead over second-place Pinecrest, where it will wrap up the regular season Friday.

The Pinecrest girls held on for a 40-37 win over Jack Britt on Tuesday to preserve their perfect conference record.

Keayna McLaughlin led the Patriots (20-1, 13-0) with 22 points.
