Ring in 2026 at the District New Year’s Eve Spectacular, Fayetteville’s biggest end-of-year celebration, taking place in Festival Park (335 Ray Ave.) on Wednesday, December 31, from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Now in its fifth year, this signature event transforms Downtown Fayetteville into a vibrant hub of music, lights, food, and community excitement as thousands gather to welcome the New Year. This year’s lineup brings three nationally recognized touring acts to the main stage. Headliners 702 will deliver their iconic R&B harmonies and beloved hits like “Where My Girls At?” and “Steelo,” creating the perfect soundtrack for a night of celebration. They are joined by hip-hop star Yung Joc, known for explosive anthems such as “It’s Goin’ Down,” and Southern hip-hop legend Bubba Sparxxx, bringing energy and crowd favorites like “Ms. New Booty” and “Deliverance.” Together, these powerhouse performers set the tone for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve experience. In addition to the main acts, the District NYE Spectacular features local bands, DJ dance sets, food trucks, libations, and family-friendly activities throughout Festival Park. Guests can explore festive vendors, enjoy interactive experiences, and take in the colorful atmosphere as the park comes alive with lights, music, and community spirit. As midnight approaches, the celebration reaches its signature moment: the raising of the custom-designed 18-foot multicolored NYE star, a symbol of the City of Fayetteville. When the star ascends, the sky erupts in a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the city as everyone counts down the final seconds to 2026. The event is curated and produced by Cool Spring Downtown District on behalf of the City of Fayetteville, with support from sponsors including the City of Fayetteville, ABC11, Healy Wholesale, and the Public Works Commission. Additional sponsors may be announced as the event nears.
