DJ Daffie
DJ DAFFIE is a passionate disc jockey (DJ) and actor who prides himself on spinning musical vibes
that inspire you to “bust a move.” He believes if you can’t take criticism you aren’t ready to be
successful. A principle he lives by and a value that will drive him to achieve his goals. Raised in
Queens and Long Island, New York the energetic DJ started his career spinning at house parties
as a teenager then baby showers and now can be heard on some of New York’s popular radio
shows. From high-energy club crowd-pleasers to slower oldies but goodies, DJ DAFFIE has mass
appeal.
Currently, he hosts a weekly show on 103.9FM from 11pm-12am on Sundays, titled “Let’s Talk
About It,” that focuses on current events and new artists. Since 2012 DJ DAFFIE has been featured
on regional broadcast stations and online radio shows including Premier Radio Network; Jams,
DTF Radio, YAC Radio; Caribbean Online Radio and is the Official DJ of SIHHRADIO.NET.
Born Iton Anderson in Brooklyn, he was inspired by his father who listened to Reggae and Soca,
and mother who enjoyed smooth R&B. Growing up DJ DAFFIE attended “bashment” parties
where the music was dominated by Reggae and the latest dance moves were on display. “I was
also excited to hear Hip Hop mixtapes from DJs like Scratch, Premier, Funk Master Flex and the
legendary Jam Master J, said DJ DAFFIE. They all had a signature style that was recognizable
when you heard it.” An opportunity for him to “bring the energy” during a set and take center
stage was something he craved and aspired to achieve.
In 2013 on his way to a nightclub, his friend, @DuDollaz asked him if he would be interested in a
cameo appearance on the wildly popular web series “Money & Violence” and from that moment
his acting career began. Joe, the character he played in the web series became so popular that it
evolved into a reoccurring role. He also plays the character Pookie in the urban web series’
Season 2 of “Cold World.”
DJ DAFFIE’s career continues to evolve with him recently touring with Lil Durk, opening for
MoneyBagg Yo and is the Official DJ of CLOUD9TV. He recently inked a deal to become co-
owner of a music label. For more information or bookings email Iamdjdaffie@gmail.com. Follow
